2 Weeks Away!
With just 2 short weeks to go before the fundraiser, we are getting more and more excited about March 4. The event will take place at Deerwood Country Club at 6:30, and it is going to be a lot of fun. Tickets are $75/person and include a great plated dinner, a live auction, and a time to celebrate all that GOD has done for All Things New, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. This year we are going to try something new because we have some really good live auction items that might be just as perfect for some of our LaGrange supporters as they are for our Jacksonville folks. We have 4 great options to bid on, and we want to make sure that those of you in LaGrange or in other places where our supporters live have a chance to bid on the items that you like.
This year, we will have “proxy” bidders at the auction for anyone who wants to bid on an item but cannot attend. If you are interested in this option, the logistics are simple:
1. Email me (mattbush15@gmail.com) or reply to this email and let me know that you want to bid on one of the items.
2. Include in the email the highest bid you would go to for the item.
3. We will have a proxy at the event to bid just like you would if you were there. If your max bid is $5,000 but the item goes for $2,000…your proxy will not bid more than the $2,000 for which the item sells.
If you choose to do this, nobody else will know how much you plan on bidding, and we will let you know immediately following the auction if you won. This is also a great way to bid even if you live in Jacksonville but cannot bid the night of the event or cannot make the event.
Over the next few days, we are going to put up some pictures and more information about each item, but here is a list of what will be auctioned off:
- Emerald Cove at Lewis Smith Lake. A 4 or 7 night stay at a Beautiful 7-bedroom Lake House that sleeps up to 18 people just north of Birmingham, AL at Lewis Smith Lake. Here is the link to check this place out: https:/
- Bono's Pit Bar-B-Q and Reina Cookies. This entails once-a-month $125 gift cards good at any Bono's in Jacksonville along with once-a-month delivery of Reina Cookies (https://reinacookies.com). The retail value on this item is $1,935 and the minimum bid is $1,500.
- My Mountain Paradise mountain cabin located in north Georgia near Blue Ridge, to check out the 2 bedroom, 2 bath house: Click Here. Minimum bid is $1,000.
