A 7-Bedroom Lake House Vacation
Today I am going to introduce you to the next incredible item that we will be auctioning off at our upcoming Dinner Celebration and Fundraiser. Before I do that, however, I will do the abbreviated opening for this email:

I could try to describe it, but really only the pictures do it justice. It was designed for multiple families, large groups, or even retreats, so the space is big and the scenery is beautiful. It is located at Lewis Smith lake just north of Birmingham, AL. The rental can be made pretty much any time in 2023 (with a few exclusions) and will be worked out with our wonderful donors Mark and Karen Whalen. You can choose 1 of 2 options to bid:
- If you are interested in a 4-night stay, the bidding starts at $3,000, and will be available only if nobody bids on the 7-night stay.
- If you are interested in a 7-night stay, the bidding starts at $5,250.
Both of those options are well below normal.
Remember: YOU CAN BID ON THIS ITEM WITHOUT ATTENDING THE EVENT!
This year, we will have “proxy” bidders at the auction for anyone who wants to bid on an item but cannot attend. If you are interested in this option, the logistics are simple:
1. Email me (mattbush15@gmail.com) or reply to this email and let me know that you want to bid on one of the items.
2. Include in the email the highest bid you would go to for the item.
3. We will have a proxy at the event to bid just like you would if you were there. If your max bid is $5,000 but the item goes for $2,000…your proxy will not bid more than the $2,000 for which the item sells.
