Heading Back to Haiti

We are  heading back down to Haiti tomorrow and, for the first time ever, we only have to ride on one plane to get there.  JetBlue just opened up a flight from Orlando to Port Au Prince, and we are excited about not having to layover in Miami for the first time, especially with 2 babies.  Please continue to be in prayer for us and for All Things New as we make this trip and get ready to spend some time with the kids.  We had a great time being in America for Christmas and spending time with family, and we also had a productive time for All Things New on many levels.  As you pray for this trip, please pray specifically for these things:

• We are taking a 2 year-old and an almost 1 year-old with us, and that can definitely present some challenges.
• Please continue to pray for our kids as their school continues to get a little more difficult each year.  
• In 2018, we will also be putting together a “life plan” for each of our kids.  This means that we will sit down, 1 on 1, with each child and put together a plan for their future.  For our younger kids, this will be little more than dreaming and learning what they hope to be when they grow up.  For our older kids, however, this will be serious time of talking through the challenges that they will soon face and how we can help them achieve the dreams and goals that they have for their lives.  
• We have a team coming on January 29 for our Christmas Party (the ATN Christmas Party is in January each year) and to do ministry with the kids and in the community.

When we get to Haiti, we are going to start a blog series about 2018 that you will not want to miss.  We will talk about our goals, our dreams, ways that you can get involved, and how we are praying for GOD to move our ministry during this year.  We cannot wait to see where GOD leads us and how He leads each of you to get involved with All Things New in 2018!
