Save The Date!

It is that time of the year again...Our 2023 Fundraiser is just a few months away, and with Christmas right around the corner we wanted to go ahead and ask you to put this date on your calendar!

The Fundraiser will be March 4, 2023 at 6:30 at Deerwood Country Club. It is a Saturday this year, so we are expecting even more people to make it than last year, which was our most successful event to date.

I hope that you have seen our recent emails and posts about the kids starting school again finally. Even though the schools in our area of Gressier are starting back, the vast majority of schools in Haiti cannot. It is still too dangerous and there are still too many kidnappings and gang wars going on in Port Au Prince right now.

With events like this fundraiser, Giving Tuesday that so many of you participated in, and the end-of-the-year giving that is available through December, our kids do more than simply survive what is going on around them.

The kids at All Things New get the love and care of great house moms, 3 meals every day with snacks, and the ability to attend and do well in school. When things calm down there, we even have the opportunity to get back into job creation and computer work.

I know things seem bleak, difficult, and sometimes hopeless when you think about all that they have to deal with in their country. I know it has been a long time since we have been able to go down there. I know it can be discouraging to think about some times.

I also know that you have been incredibly faithful in praying, giving, and encouraging us in our efforts there. We are not giving up on our kids or our ministry there and we are so thankful that you have not either. 

There will be opportunities again this year to attend the event, donate in lieu of attending if you cannot make it, and most importantly be a Table Host that invites and recruits a full table of 8 people. Those details will be coming soon, but today we just wanted to make you aware of the event.
