Thank You for a Wonderful Night!

This past Friday Night was an incredible night for All Things New and we had a blast being there with all of you who were able to make it.  This was our 5th Jacksonville Fundraiser and our first time with a new format that we called “A Taste of Haiti” and being hosted by Deerwood Country Club.  Our team, put together by Jim Henry and lead by Dee Dee Smid, did an awesome job of planning the event.  The band was great, there were tons of items to bid on in both our live and silent auction, Deerwood was a perfect venue, and the food was as close to authentic Haitian food as you will find prepared by Americans.  If you were able to make it out to the event…Thank you.  It was so wonderful to be together with our friends and supporters of ATN.  We are still in the process of figuring out exactly how much we brought in, but we know that it will go a long way in ensuring that we meet budget for this year.  We still have a lot of work to do to make sure we can accomplish all of our 2018 goals, but this was a huge start and we are so appreciative of everyone who made this event a success.  The truth is, I can’t wait until next year.  A night out with friends (and without kids) in a beautiful setting and with great food is just what we needed before we head back to Haiti in a couple of weeks.
