Top 5: A Christmas/New Year Version
The last 2 weeks for All Things New and for the Bush family has been wonderful. We have been a little out of communication with our website and blog, but we have been talking to our team in Haiti a lot even with the distance between us. We hope everyone reading this had a great Christmas worshipping their Savior and a wonderful New Year's Day getting ready for what we hope is everyone's best year yet! -
One of The Best Sermons Ever Preached
Last week, in the All Things New blog, I talked about the Joy of Christmas and how when Jesus is the source of our joy nothing can take it from us.... -
Christmas, Covid, and Joy
Our joy comes from the fact that, as a follower of Christ, I get to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. So no matter what you do or say to me right now or 20 years from now, in the end I get to be with my Savior. Forever...And Ever...And Ever. And after 10,000 years of being intensely in the presence of GOD and contemplating and seeking every aspect of who He is, I will not be any closer to the fullness of His joy than I was when I started. -
Merry Christmas from All Things New!
Have you ever noticed how there is still a sense of awe and wonder around Christmas? When you read about the birth of Jesus in the Gospels, there are all of these different events that come together that, if you really ponder them, they are hard to believe. Here are just a few of them: […] -
A Christmas Party in February
`Before I talk about our Christmas party this past Saturday, it is important for me to remind everyone reading this of our Jacksonville Fundraiser coming up on Friday March 1. This is going to be a really good event this year at the Deerwood Country Club, and I hope that everyone reading this in Jacksonville […] -
December in America
Being back in the states with 3 kids during the month of December this year is something I can barely wrap my mind around. In 2014, Jess and I took a Christmas trip to New York to see the city during Christmas and watch a couple of shows. At that point in time, we had […] -
ATN Christmas Party 2018
We had our Christmas party yesterday, and it was a lot of fun. The party itself was almost the same as last year with a local DJ that we hired to bring in speakers and music, Woodly and Milouse leading the program, some of our kids telling jokes/dancing/singing, food and drinks, and then a free-for-all […] -
Merry Christmas!
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great […] -
December 2016 vs December 2017
It has been a while since the last All Things New blog, but there has been a lot going on lately both personally and with ATN. Recently, however, I found myself contemplating about how different December 2017 has been and will continue to be compared to December 2016. The key word is “different” and not […] -
The Month of December
I want to start this blog off by saying thank you so much to everyone who helped us make Giving Tuesday a huge success for All Things New this year. I was hoping by now we would have learned exactly how much of the giving on that Tuesday will be matched, but we have not […] -
The Christmas Party
This is the follow-up to our most recent blog about our Christmas Party. It was an absolute blast. The party went from 2:00 to about 7:00 and it was just a great celebration. I need to apologize to anyone within a ½ mile radius of the kids’ house because it was really loud, but that […]
