Our Kids Took A Trip!
The truth is that the past few years have been really difficult. They have been difficult on our kids, on our employees, on our organization, and on our family as well. With all of the uncertainty in Haiti, the danger in Haiti, the difficulty of fundraising during Covid, and not being able to be physically present as much as we would like things are hard. The kids needed this and they had a lot of fun. -
Gang Violence, Covid, and a Cancelled Constitutional Referendum
But also, in the midst of that, pray for our kids to not let these things define who they are. For them to rise above the incredible negative things that have happened in their country over the past few weeks, months, and years, and for them to be more than conquerors. For them to work and for us to help them in whatever way we can become the men and women they were created to be. -

If we are not, there is something wrong. When tragedy strikes, GOD is still living inside of us. When things are good, GOD is still living inside of us. When we are arguing with others, GOD is still living inside of us.

Nobody has insurance. Most people's family and friends are as poor as they are. And the government is certainly not going to help anyone except for themselves and their own family.
When tragedy strikes you lose everything, and make no mistake, tragedy is striking right now.

Understood that we do not need conservatives/liberals in power as much as we need Jesus to make real change in our lives first, which leads to real change in our family, which leads to real change in our church, which leads to real change in our community, which leads to real change in our city, which leads to real change in our state, which leads to real change in our nation, which leads to real change in our world. -
Politics and Religion
Both of the countries that we love are at a crossroad. We can continue to move down that political divide that places party over people and tolerance over truth, or we can stand up for the people in our society who need it. Our job is to teach our children to stand for those who cannot stand and fight for those who cannot fight. How can I teach that to my children if I do not do that myself?
