  • Matching Donation Opportunity!

What that means is that if we raise $10,000 on Giving Tuesday, 100% of those funds will be matched by a few of our awesome donors. We cannot afford to leave even 1 dollar on the table, especially as we close out one of the most difficult years on record.
  • Missing The Kids' First Day

We missed being in Haiti on their first day, but we did not miss the pride that we feel for each of them for not giving up and for pushing as hard as they can to do as well as they can. Thank you for being proud with us and thank you for praying for us and supporting all that we do!
  • 4 Of Our Boys Got Baptized!

Right now, I need to trust GOD more than anything and certainly more than I need to trust myself. I have no idea why that is so hard and why it took me less than a day to forget, but here I am again reminding myself. I will probably be back here in a few hours and again tomorrow and the next day and the next...
  • What Do You Care About?

When we study our lives and where we spend our time, efforts, and money then we will see what we truly care about and I am afraid that many of us may not like what we find. Can we make a deal? Can we please stop talking about and acting like we care about things when nothing about our actions or our lives show that we do?
  • Our First Coder's First Job!

This is a blog that I have been wanting to write for a long time now, and I cannot believe that it is finally time to write it. Thank you to Arlington Baptist Church here in Jacksonville for giving us and our program a chance! I wanted to go into a little detail of what we are doing and what our plans are for the future so you can continue to pray for us and stay updated on everything.
  • My Observations in Haiti

It had been quite a while since I had been back down to Haiti, but I was able to spend this past week with our kids, our employees, and running some errands to get ready for the start of school. It was great being back down at All Things New, and I thought I would share some of the things that I noticed in Haiti and with our kids while I was down there.
  • When Tragedy Strikes...Part 2

    Are we different?

If we are not, there is something wrong. When tragedy strikes, GOD is still living inside of us. When things are good, GOD is still living inside of us. When we are arguing with others, GOD is still living inside of us.

When tragedy strikes we have joy because...GOD is still living inside of us.

  • When Tragedy Strikes

When Tragedy Strikes in Haiti...You Lose Everything...The End.

Nobody has insurance. Most people's family and friends are as poor as they are. And the government is certainly not going to help anyone except for themselves and their own family.

When tragedy strikes you lose everything, and make no mistake, tragedy is striking right now.

  • The Patriotic Gospel

Understood that we do not need conservatives/liberals in power as much as we need Jesus to make real change in our lives first, which leads to real change in our family, which leads to real change in our church, which leads to real change in our community, which leads to real change in our city, which leads to real change in our state, which leads to real change in our nation, which leads to real change in our world.
  • The Crazy $1 to HTG Exchange Rate

To add to the already difficult economic outlook in Haiti, the exchange rate there has been fluctuating at a level that is difficult to comprehend. I am not an economist and I do not fully understand the nuances of foreign currency and how/why they fluctuate. I can, however, speak to how certain people will be affected by these fluctuations and especially how the consequences for All Things New
  • Knowledge and Love

My prayer is that I would become the "build others up with love instead of eating the food" guy. That my love for GOD would outweigh my knowledge of Him. That my love for other people would be more important than me being "right." My prayer is that I can teach this to our kids at All Things New, my own children, and anyone else that GOD allows me to. Join me in praying that GOD changes our hearts so that we choose love over knowledge.
  • A Potential For More Political Unrest

I say all of that to say that now that the Covid-19 fears in Haiti are subsiding and life is getting back to normal, there is a new social and political threat. Please join me in praying that it is nothing more than that...A threat.
