One of The Best Sermons Ever Preached
Last week, in the All Things New blog, I talked about the Joy of Christmas and how when Jesus is the source of our joy nothing can take it from us.... -
Christmas, Covid, and Joy
Our joy comes from the fact that, as a follower of Christ, I get to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. So no matter what you do or say to me right now or 20 years from now, in the end I get to be with my Savior. Forever...And Ever...And Ever. And after 10,000 years of being intensely in the presence of GOD and contemplating and seeking every aspect of who He is, I will not be any closer to the fullness of His joy than I was when I started. -
The Level 4 Travel Advisory Remains in Place
The bottom line is that things in Haiti are still a struggle. As 2020, one of the most difficult years for many people that I know, comes to an end, we would ask for your prayers for what is going on in Haiti! -
Thank You!
I wish I could put into words how thankful we are and how much this means to us both as an organization and personally from us and our kids in Haiti. Raising funds is difficult in general and even more so during a pandemic, and we are so grateful for how you guys rallied behind us. -
Tomorrow Is The Day!
Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday! Thank you to everyone who has already started a Giving Tuesday Fundraiser for All Things New. If you have not yet started one, it is really simple. In fact, if you have a Facebook account, it might be the simplest thing that you have ever done to help out a non profit like All Things New. All you have to do is click this link and follow the prompts:

Our Biggest Giving Day of the Year!
We understand that 2020 has been a difficult year for everyone. It has been by far the craziest year I remember. We have tried as hard we could as an organization to reduce costs where we could and to not ask for money from our supporters who were already hurting. This is our chance to end 2020 on a positive financial note, and we hope and pray that you would consider joining us. -
Matching Donation Opportunity!
What that means is that if we raise $10,000 on Giving Tuesday, 100% of those funds will be matched by a few of our awesome donors. We cannot afford to leave even 1 dollar on the table, especially as we close out one of the most difficult years on record. -
Missing The Kids' First Day
We missed being in Haiti on their first day, but we did not miss the pride that we feel for each of them for not giving up and for pushing as hard as they can to do as well as they can. Thank you for being proud with us and thank you for praying for us and supporting all that we do! -
4 Of Our Boys Got Baptized!
Right now, I need to trust GOD more than anything and certainly more than I need to trust myself. I have no idea why that is so hard and why it took me less than a day to forget, but here I am again reminding myself. I will probably be back here in a few hours and again tomorrow and the next day and the next... -
What Do You Care About?
When we study our lives and where we spend our time, efforts, and money then we will see what we truly care about and I am afraid that many of us may not like what we find. Can we make a deal? Can we please stop talking about and acting like we care about things when nothing about our actions or our lives show that we do? -
Our First Coder's First Job!
This is a blog that I have been wanting to write for a long time now, and I cannot believe that it is finally time to write it. Thank you to Arlington Baptist Church here in Jacksonville for giving us and our program a chance! I wanted to go into a little detail of what we are doing and what our plans are for the future so you can continue to pray for us and stay updated on everything. -
My Observations in Haiti
It had been quite a while since I had been back down to Haiti, but I was able to spend this past week with our kids, our employees, and running some errands to get ready for the start of school. It was great being back down at All Things New, and I thought I would share some of the things that I noticed in Haiti and with our kids while I was down there.
